Loving my body, flaws and all 💜⠀ ⠀ The past

Loving my body, flaws and all 💜⠀
⠀
The past few years have been a personal struggle for me in terms of feeling confident with the body I have. Some days I feel great, other days I want to hide behind my hair and oversized hoodies. ⠀
⠀
But this year I made a pact to learn to love my flaws and feel good about my body and how I look. I also promised myself to buy myself a new swimsuit and show off the body I love. ⠀
⠀
Yesterday was that day. It's been a ride and I still struggle at times, but I'm loving myself more than ever and feeling happy with where I am. It felt a little weird wearing my new swimwear, but I felt great getting to show the world that I'm loving my body! No matter what anyone says or thinks. ⠀

This a bit of a long caption sorry, but I wanted to share my journey in case there's someone else going through the a similar path to self confidence. ⠀

Auckland's @armageddonexponz finally finished on Monday which was a fun, but sad day at the same time. I love conventions and the atmosphere in them, so I was extremely grateful to have had one after a year like this. ⠀

For the final day, I went with a Mickey Mouse Disneybound which is one of my personal favourite looks to wear whenever and wherever! ⠀

I had such an amazing time at the @armageddonexponz and debuting my newest variant of Jedi....my Zabrak Jedi Sentinel, which I made myself!

The inspiration for this version was all the Zabrak characters I seen in Star Wars The Old Republic (SWTOR) which is a game I love :)⠀

Haven't done an artistic makeup look for a while, so I took my galaxy image I use during my yt videos and a look done by @jamescharles as inspiration to create this purple galaxy. ⠀

It took a long time to make it and a lot of trial and error to get it to look like this, but I'm pretty happy with the end result!⠀

This week DC announced a ton of new movies, TV shows and video games at the DC FanDome online event!⠀

I am most looking forward to the two new video games, Gotham Nights and Suicide Squad game, along with The Batman movie and the Suicide Squad sequel.⠀
